Okay, great. But what does that mean?
To understand what we do, you need a basic knowledge of supply chains. Supply chains provide manufacturers with raw materials, and sometimes supply them with already manufactured products. Supply chain management companies plan, implement and control the efficient flow and storage of commodities, materials and services between the source and the consumer. The goals of a supply chain management company are to manage inventory, increase value by reducing costs in logistics, reduce production to market time and allow for flexibility in facilitating.
You’re probably thinking to yourself, That’s a lot of jargon and I still don’t know what Dolven does. Well if you’ve stayed with us this far, we can now explain what we mean by our mission.
It means that we provide the components needed to create that homey feeling. We are the explorers who navigate the intricate waters of global manufacturers, vendors and suppliers and forge a clear route between the essential resources and the home furnishings industry. Whether it’s for a mattress, sofa, pillow or even a dog bed, we provide our customers with the components necessary to finalize these products.
Our explorations into the global supply chain revealed to us that we needed a global presence, and so with four global locations that span from Asia to North America to Central America, we have positioned ourselves as a competitive and effective middle man connecting businesses to their essential materials.
Because of our youth, we do not fit into a mold of believing in one correct way to manufacture or to supply components or to create solutions. We don’t shy away from a challenge, we work smart and we have curious and adventurous minds, so if a more efficient and economical approach exists in any aspect of the business, we will find and implement it.
